Dear Friend of youthrive:
Please remember youthrive on this unique day of giving! Your donation is needed now, more than ever, to support our dynamic
programs designed and led by young people!
A group of Minnesota foundations collaborated to create a new online giving site, GiveMN.org. To promote the new site, November 17 has been named “Give to the Max Day.”
The goal? To raise as much money as possible for Minnesota nonprofits in 24 hours, starting at 8 a.m. on November 17. Individuals are encouraged to give throughout the 24-hour period.
Every donation made through GiveMN.org on November 17, starting at 8 a.m. through 8 a.m. November 18, will receive a portion of $500,000 in matching funds provided by local foundations. This means that the exact amount matched per dollar donated will be determined after Give to the Max Day concludes. GiveMN.org will divide the $500,000 of matching funds by the total donations.
In addition, GiveMN partners are paying the transaction costs for gifts made through the site on Give to the Max Day – that means that 100% of your gift will go straight to youthrive!
Plus, as an additional incentive, the three nonprofit organizations that receive donations from the most individual donors on Give to the Max day will each receive cash prizes.
So, if you’ve been thinking about making a gift to youthrive, November 17 is a great day to do it!
Here’s what you do:
- Starting at 8 a.m. Nov 17 through 8 a.m. Nov 18, go to GiveMN.org.
- Choose youthrive as the organization you’d like to donate to.
- Increase the impact of your gift thanks to the matching funds.
We’ll send you a reminder on November 17 to make the most of your contribution by making it on Give To the Max Day!
If you would like to make a special year end gift and choose not to donate through GiveMN.org, you may give directly to youthrive via personal check. Please make checks payable to youthrive and mail to us at 400 Selby Ave, Suite G-3, St. Paul, MN 55102.
Your donation supports innovative programs designed and led by young people.
Sincerely,
